Serial Hobbyist. Husband. Father. Problem Solver. Adventurer. Metalhead.
The short story
I have a lot of interests and I love learning new things. In 2025, I walked away from nearly two decades of working for companies like General Motors and Henry Ford Health to bet on myself. Best decision I ever made.
I co-founded Radio Chatter with my wife: a conversation starter card game for the overland and off-road community. What started as a side hustle turned into a real business with nationwide partnerships, mobile apps I built using AI, and a crash course in what it actually takes to run a company when there's no IT department, no marketing, and no one to delegate to.
That experience, combined with 17 years of leading teams, fixing broken processes, and building things from scratch in corporate, led me to start coaching and consulting for other small business owners. I help with strategy, operations, and making AI actually useful for your business and not just a buzzword. You can learn more about that on my Work With Me page.
I also write about all of it. My blog is a real-time account of this journey with the wins, the mistakes, and everything I'm learning along the way. I started it because friends and colleagues kept asking how they could follow along on my corporate departure, but it's turned into something bigger than that. If you're thinking about making a leap of your own, or trying to build your own business, I hope something in there helps.
When I'm not working, you'll find me on the trail, at a live concert, or a youth sporting event. I'm a guide and photographer with Mountain State Overland, and I spend as much time as possible overlanding, camping, and just getting my family outside.
Thanks for stopping by.
