My Multimedia PC
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (Socket 939)
2 GB RAM
500 GB HDD (250 WD x2)
Geforce 8500GT Video Card
Lite-On Blu-Ray Player
Windows Vista Ultimate
Vizio VX-37L (37" HD, LCD TV) with DVI-HDMI connection
Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound
*It is not the ideal multimedia PC (especially for watching Blu-Ray). In fact, I have had a lot of problems with Blu-Ray on this PC. I have tried a better video card, a new Blu-Ray drive, but to no avail. My best guess is that the CPU (being a 939 socket) is not good enough even though the specs meet the minimum requirement for software like PowerDVD.
My General PC Lenovo 3000 N100 Laptop
Windows Vista Business Edition
Windows XP on Virtual PC
*I upgraded the RAM from 512 to 1 GB and Vista runs perfect (2.8 Windows Experience because of graphics card)
